Appendicitis

Endoscopic surgery is being carried out for appendicitis. Conventional treatments are also available for appendicitis. Appendicitis is treated by removing the inflamed appendix. Surgeons make an incision in the abdomen or use a small surgical device that creates a smaller opening. An appendectomy usually requires 2 to 3 days hospital stay.
